Well......the reunion has come and gone for 2009.
I don't know about anyone else, but I had a GREAT time!

I have posted some of the photos on FACEBOOK, and for those who
don't have an account, I emailed out a montage this morning.

We will be uploading and sending out more photos over the next few weeks,
if you have photos you would like included, please email them to me or
Lindsay and we will get them added.

Update

Okay, here's a few things I thought I would mention.......
  • The weather forecast for Friday IS NOT the greatest, rain, but the rest of the weekend should be okay.
  • Kevin and I are bringing the "fire-pit", if some of you can bring wood that would be great.
  • The phone number for The Washboard Inn is 979.535.4977 for those who need accommodations.

  • I am making dinner Friday, plan on eating around 6pm or so.

The official count down has begun.....see you there!

I found this poem.....thought it was appropriate at this time

Family comes together
For always and forever
In sickness and in health
In poverty or in wealth
Family comes together
For always and forever
Without any reason
Anytime or any season
Family comes together
For always and forever
In death or in life
In happiness or in strife
Family comes together
For always and forever
In anger or in kindness
Whether all seeing or in blindness
Family comes together
For always and forever
Whether for work or for play
They somehow find a way
For family to come together
Because families are forever
So........are YOU coming to the 2009 Rabon Reunion?

Tick..tick...tick..

It's getting closer y'all!
I am getting excited! I just sent out an email to get a head count for dinner Friday night.
Guess what we are having?! Chicken Spaghetti! I am going to ATTEMPT
Nan's recipe and see if I can do it justice! To go with it, we are having fresh green salad and loaves of piping hot french bread!
I spoke to Christi, she and Flavio will be making their famous "asada" for lunch on Saturday! Yummmmyyyyy!
7 days and counting!
